The Powell River Pavilion offers an ideal place for retreats in vibrant outdoor setting directly on the scenic Powell River. A commercial kitchen and climate controlled bathrooms are adjacent.

During the pandemic, we have held all our events at this open-air location, including meal service. The circulation of fresh air and ample space has resulted in a space where meetings can be held in conditions that are as safe as possible.

During colder months, we provide wrap-around, electric stadium blankets for warmth. People have expressed an enjoyment of being outdoors to hear the birds, the breeze, the river activity and all the sounds of nature during retreats and have requested that we continue to use the Pavilion even after the receding pandemic allows us to move back indoors to the main Conference Building.

For groups, the compact, but fully functional commercial kitchen is available to prepare meals and wash dishes.

The wood-fired pizza oven can also bake bread and roast meat and vegetables.

And there is a barbeque grill (bring your own charcoal).
