About Your Facilitators

Debbie Phelan
Debbie began her yoga journey in 1998 and quickly fell in love with the practice—both physically and spiritually. Over the past two decades, she’s completed over 1,200 hours of training in styles ranging from vinyasa and restorative to therapeutic and yoga for chronic pain. Her classes are welcoming, creative, and full of laughter, built on the belief that yoga truly is for every body. Debbie’s passion for yoga is infectious, and many of her original students are still practicing with her today.

Jessica Baker
Jessica has been part of the Blue Ridge Yoga community since 2023 and joined our admin team in 2025. A graduate of our teacher training program, she brings warmth, presence, and a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection into everything she does - both on and off the mat.
Jessica is a breast cancer survivor, a former horse-riding coach, and a proud dance mom to her 19-year-old daughter, Lily. She first discovered yoga as a way to improve her flexibility, but it became much more during her healing journey.

Meals
Three freshly prepared, mostly gluten-free, non-vegetarian meals will be served daily with a vegetarian option served at each meal. Tea, coffee, lemon ginger water, and snacks will be available throughout the day.
