This immersion is part of the guide certification path for Nature and Forest Therapy Guides-in-Training through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT).
This is an opportunity to be guided by ANFT trainers, practice guiding each other, and depend into the practice of Nature and Forest Therapy.​

Who This Retreat Is For
This guide immersion is for those who are within or have completed their 6-month remote training through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT).

The land at the Well Being Retreat Center is alive in a way that invites people to connect and Nature to be fully present.

About Your Facilitators

Christine Hoyer
Christine Hoyer is a guide, mentor, and trainer with ANFT, and she owns and operates Mindful Meanders based near the Smoky Mountains.
Her passion lies in the belief that everyone has the capacity to awaken, re-awaken, explore, and expand their connection with Nature.
She focuses on creating opportunities and holding space for others to be in authentic relationship with themselves and Nature. She also facilitates mindfulness and meditation, teaches Tai Chi/Qigong, and has a background in eco-psychology.
Tam Wiley
Tam Willey is a guide, mentor, and trainer with ANFT and founder of Toadstool Walks based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Tam designs and runs immersion retreats with The Venture Out Project and has been mentoring and serving LGBTQ Youth thru various programs in Boston for the last decade.
Tam is passionate about the ways that Forest Therapy can support and broaden relationships through sharing and bearing witness in community with the natural world in a way that supports our remembering that we are not simply in relationship with nature but rather that we are nature.

Meals
Three freshly prepared, mostly gluten-free, vegetarian meals will be served daily with a vegan option served at each meal.
Tea, coffee, lemon ginger water, and snacks will be available throughout the day.​​

Then, to attend this Immersion, register with Well Being Retreat Center for housing and meals by clicking on the button below.

Registration costs range from $515 - $950 depending on the housing selection​​​

Check-in will be from 3:00-5:00 pm on September 16th

The retreat will conclude after lunch, at around 2:00 pm on September 20th
