Retreat Overview
Within the slowing down of retreat, there is an invitation to listen deeply to what is arising and inquire within, gently welcoming what is unmet, untouched and unloved. This sacred meeting in truth is known as Satsang, where Alaya tenderly guides us inward, deepening our listening, dissolving any boundaries of separation.
Gentle Presence Yoga is grounding and settling in a profound way like a meditation for the body, supporting the deepening that is arising in Satsang. Corrine’s gentle invitation to soften as the energy of the pain body may be activated, is loving, guiding without judgement or expectation. The integration of body, mind and spirit simply happens, and we discover the truth of our being as Presence.
A Sacred Hug is an embodied offering where Satsang and Gentle Presence Yoga becomes as one movement, deepening the coming home.

Who This Retreat Is For
A Sacred Hug is for anyone whether or not you are familiar with the words Satsang or Yoga or you’ve experienced many silent retreats or none.
Many of us are looking for something; more peace, more love, less noise, less distractions. Yet when we get those things, they don’t seem to quench the thirst of our deepest yearning.
We are in service to you. We are in service to your settling in. We are in service to the revealing who you really are, what is always and already here, your opening heart, your true nature, alive and free.

About Your Facilitators

Alaya Dickinson
Alaya shares from her own direct experience that awakening is a natural present unfolding. “Everything we need to wake up is already here in our ordinary lives and in tenderness as our true nature, all of life becomes the teacher.”
As people started asking Alaya to teach, Grace appeared as her beloved teacher and friend Adyashanti. With his guidance and support she began giving Satsang in 2011.
This will be Alaya’s 21st retreat at Well Being Retreat Center.

Corrine Champigny
After an awakening on a 30-day silent retreat, Corrine’s life transformed from being a Nashville singer-songwriter to opening her first yoga and meditation center, House of Bliss on Music Row in 1998.
Her early meditation practice eventually merged with movement when she experienced a form of yoga where the boundaries of her body seemed to dissolve.
From that moment, Gentle Presence Yoga was born — a meditation through the body that she now lovingly shares.

Meals
Three freshly prepared, mostly gluten-free, non-vegetarian meals will be served daily with a vegetarian option served at each meal. Tea, coffee, lemon ginger water, and snacks will be available throughout the day.
