Well Being Retreat Center - Event

University of Tennessee College of Nursing Spring Writing Retreat
with Dr. Tammy Wyatt

February 16 - February 18, 2024

About The Retreat

Writing with Pen

The Office of Research and Scholarship hosts writing retreats for interested faculty members. In this spirit, the UTK College of Nursing will be hosting a writing retreat at the Well Being Retreat Center. During the weekend, faculty members can find quiet time for writing, while also having the chance to collaborate with their colleagues.

This retreat is a chance for faculty to step away from their usual office and home environments, granting them dedicated time to work on their writing tasks. Whether it's drafting grant applications, creating proposals, composing articles, or simply catching up on grading, this retreat will provide the space to address pending tasks. Beyond personal projects, the retreat allows for collaboration. It offers an uninterrupted setting for faculty to connect with colleagues they might not usually interact with closely.

Participation is limited to the College of Nursing faculty members.
