About Christine & Tam

Christine Hoyer is a guide, mentor, apprentice trainer and trail consultant with ANFT and she runs Mindful Meanders based in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She was drawn to Nature and Forest Therapy as a way to deepen her own authentic connection to the natural world and holding that space for others to openly experience natures gifts and benefits has become just as important. She also facilitates meditation sessions and teaches the art of tai chi/qigong out in nature. Her passion lies in the belief that everyone has the capacity to awaken, re-awaken, explore and expand their own connection with the more-than-human-world by simply being present and tuning in to what is being offered.  www.mindful-meanders.com

Tam Willey is a guide, trainer, mentor with ANFT and founder of Toadstool Walks based in Boston, Massachusetts.  Tam has been guiding Forest Therapy since 2017 in collaboration with various organizations in the Boston area.  Tam designs and runs immersion retreats with The Venture Out Project and has been mentoring and serving LGBTQ Youth thru various programs in Boston for the last decade.  Tam is passionate about the ways that Forest Therapy can support and broaden relationships through sharing and bearing witness in community with the natural or more-than-human world in a way that supports our remembering that we are not simply in relationship with nature but rather that we are nature. www.toadstoolwalks.com
